Coordinating Committee
Purpose
The 2021 SIMPL CBME Coordinating Committee is responsible for the overall strategy and planning of the pilot. The group reports to the SIMPL Steering Committee. The chair from each pilot subcommittee will also be a member of the coordinating committee.

Engagement Committee
Purpose
The Engagement Committee will create, share, and follow-up on ideas to improve engagement for programs with the SIMPL CBME Pilot. SIMPL will support the Engagement Committee through existing engagement resources, new strategies, and new tools.
Members
No restrictions; ideally members who have a track record of success in this domain and/or innovative ideas for motivating others.
Meeting Frequency
4th Thursday of each month at 4pm eastern, March 2021-July 2022
Aim and Measurement Committees (Specialty-Specific)
Purpose
The aim of the 2021 SIMPL CBME pilot is to ensure competence on one index procedure per PGY per specialty. The Aim and Measurement Committees, formed of members from each specialty, will be responsible for selecting specialty-specific index procedures and define competence standards. SIMPL will support these committees through expert consultation, relevant data requests, and analyses.
Members
Each specialty committee should have at least 3 members. Members should include a mix of faculty and residents from multiple programs and from diverse program types. Delegates are accepted.

Initial Kick-off Meeting: Tuesday, March 23rd at 4pm eastern
First Group Check-in: Tuesday, May 25th at 4pm eastern
Teaching and Learning Committees (Specialty-Specific)
Purpose
Formed of members from each specialty, each committee will determine the educational change ideas for the CBME pilot sites (i.e.: simulation, teaching technique, usage of reporting metrics, learning plans, etc.). SIMPL will support the Teaching and Learning Committee with identifying and selecting change ideas, identifying potential implementation challenges, and dissemination.

Each specialty-specific Teaching and Learning Committee should have at least 3 members. Members should include a mix of faculty and residents from multiple programs and from diverse program types. Delegates are accepted.

At-Large Member
Purpose
Full group members range from individuals from sites interested in participating, to those who want to stay up-to-date, to those leading committees. By being an At-Large Member you will receive general status updates for the Pilot including official start dates, summary of change ideas, index procedures, tips for SIMPL engagement, and more.
Members
All individuals interested in and participating in the 2021 SIMPL CBME Pilot. This group includes all committee members.
